I'm in Arkansas...

I was having a most excellent time ripping trails with my boys until I heard a pop.

That pop was more like a crack, which more or less means my frame is toast.

Yup, cracked completly through. I'd love to show pics but I've yet to learn how to post via my phone.

Thanks goodness for Parkside Cycle in Hot Springs. An hour detour later and I now have an Excaliber in the back. Looks like I should be able to sneak ride two of the day in.

Front squish and 1x9. Yes sir. The rigid ss was fun, but I'm never below handicaps.

Better watch out Trav.

Intervals

Let the fun, err, pain begin. I've been skirting the edge of these painful minutes lately, but it was all and far from nothing tonight.

I felt good. Lungs are coming around. It's still early. March launches a full assualt on intensity. Then our first big race at Lance's house. I'm hoping to beat him...

Not really but as long as I can do decent, I'll be happy. Mid pack cat 1 foder. Well that would be ok, but really a top 10 would be even better. Then again if trails don't get better around here, I might have to re-allign my ambitions.

No new bike. It's ok... I'm kind of over it. I might eventually get it built. It's been so long now, what's two more weeks.

The stumpy will ride trails again, and it needs some tlc before gracing Womble goodness.

Speaking of, I should get on that. Thursday is creeping around the corner.

My legs love me right now...

Sweet Sweet Gravel

Revived the Jake after a few weeks of road riding, to reunite it along with myself with some gravel.

It went pretty much awesomely. Found a sweet 60 mile route that was mostly all new to me. Saturday was nice. Wind was easily doable.

Kev came in today to join me. Good times. It was just what I was looking for. A slower version of yesterday. We cut it short from yesterday. 9 total hours in 32 hours. So great.

It's raining now, and likely trails will be shitt-a for awhile.

Two steps forward, one step back. Closer to spring though, so we always have to going for us.

We, as in some Ethos crew members, are headed down south to scalp some trails. Finally.

Still no new bike. The stumper may find it's way south, although the epic would be so much more.... epic.

Fingers crossed

Bike Source

Open house went great... New location that will blow your mind. Most of the crew showed up. Watched the 2010 Leadville 100 movie. Pure craziness.

Go see them on 95th and Mission. I've never witnessed such a gathering of bikes and bike related gear under one roof. Not to mention they've always been top notch when I've dealt with them.

Ride bikes. It's too damn nice not to.

Fast...

That's how we roll. Today's ride was blissful. A crazy Friday night curtailed my overall weekend riding plans, but I still got great work in. Today was no exception. Thanks to the Volker crew for a good time. Trav was rolling real strong on his fancy new Tarmac, and our newest recruite, Sarah W was amazingly strong. No doubt the fastest I've riden with. In fact I almost got dropped at the end, but heaven forbid I did and she didn't. I'd never hear the end of that one.

This season is looking to shape up REAL nice. Especially when I got my new steed built up this week.

And 60 degree weather!!!!

Fmc...

Viruses don't allow me to log in via my computer.

I still ride bikes...

Sometimes.
